Shadrach Blundell, His Family and Property 1580 to modern times
Hundreds of Blundells in Australia are descended from Shadrach Blundell, including Joseph Blundell who was transported to the colony of New South Wales in 1826. It is believed that his son George built Blundell’s Cottage, one of the most historic buildings still standing today in Canberra.
Researched and written by Dorothy Teague over many years, this book traces the times and lives of the Blundells in England and the emigration of some branches of the family to Australia and New Zealand in the nineteenth century.
